PTS is offering the NEW BRAND OF THERAPY.  We specialize in Orthopedic Rehab and Sports Medicine.  We pride ourselves on one-on-one care and the use of the latest techniques to ensure a speedy recovery with long lasting results.  Imagine having access to the same treatments that professional athletes are using! Now you can at PTS.  Advanced techniques have been added to complement the traditional physical therapy methods, and OUR PATIENTS AND ATHLETES ARE WINNING!

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a non-invasive procedure in which a thin filament needle is inserted into the skin and muscle directly at a trigger point. This can cause favorable biochemical changes, which assist in reducing pain. Dry needling can help with muscle sprains and strains; neck, back, shoulder, arm, and leg pain; migraines, tension headaches, and jaw pain.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping Therapy is the method of using glass or plastic cups to create localized pressure by a vacuum. When the suction cup is placed on a problem area, the vacuum pull of the cup creates warmth and circulation in the area, reducing pain. The vacuum inside the cups causes the blood to form in the area and help healing occur. The increased circulation created by this method helps to dissolve adhesions; normalize the position of the soft tissue ,and release its torsion; lengthen the connective tissue; hydrate the joints; and facilitate normal neurological function by muscle energy techniques.

Custom Orthotics

Our precision custom orthotics offer long-term pain relief for conditions such as planter fasciitis and chronic foot pain. Included are lifetime refurbishments of the original orthotic at a fraction of the cost through Biomechanical Services. This provides for a lifetime-use of the orthotic, which provides life-long pain relief. In-house casting using precision clinical measurements of the lower extremity and foot allows for precise fabrication of custom orthotics designed for your feet.

Spinal Manipulation

Spinal manipulation is a clinical tool used in practice at PTS for those patients would benefit from this method. Joint stiffness—a common condition and cause of pain—often is remedied with the use of spinal manipulation. For patients who qualify, it is a very powerful clinical tool to address joint issues. The physical therapists at PTS are fully certified in spinal manipulation methods through the Spinal Manipulation Institute. This certification has its basis on the model of spinal manipulation taught at the British School of Osteopathy.

Specialized Pinpoint Evaluations

Having clinical success starts with clearly identifying the root of any problem through the method of a thorough physical therapy evaluation. Through clear isolation of the problem, treatment methods can be properly targeted. This allows for efficient clinical practice and fast recovery, saving the patient time and money. At PTS, all evaluations are performed by board-certified osteopractic trained physical therapists.
